School Uniform

At The Mulberry we believe that wearing a school uniform reflects the pride and sense of belonging that we share as a school community. It is vitally important that all children wear the correct school uniform every single day. We monitor the uniform standards closely and set high expectations for all. These expectations are regularly shared with children in assembly and all staff work together to raise the standards.

Uniform can now be purchased online through School Uniform Direct. You can find out more about how to order in this Uniform Letter.

Expectations

  • Any child wearing incorrect uniform, including inappropriate footwear, will be given a replacement item of uniform to wear for the day.
  • PE kits must be brought into school on the first day of term and kept in school in a labelled drawstring bag. Children then take them home at the end of half term to wash and return.
  • Children without a PE kit in school will be given a temporary kit provided by school so they do not miss their physical education.
  • Children must not wear PE kit into school or go home in their kit, they will be expected to change in school on their PE day. The same rule applies for clubs.
  • Early years and Year 1 only need plimsolls in school, full PE kit will be introduced in the summer term of Year 1.
